AI Agent Comparison
Compare AI agents that go beyond answering questions to complete tasks by directly operating apps, browsers, and computers. We distinguish facts verified on official pages from the site operator's opinions.
What to Consider When Choosing an Agent
- Where it works — whether it operates on your computer (terminal or desktop app), in a browser extension, through a messaging service (WhatsApp or text messages), or on a cloud computer provided by the company
- What it can access — how much access it has to your files, email, and accounts, and whether it asks for confirmation before sensitive actions such as payments or sending information
- How much it costs — whether it is included in your existing subscription, requires separate payment, or incurs extra charges when you exceed usage limits
- Whether it is available in your country — many agents are available only in select regions

OChatGPT Work
ChatGPT Work is an agent mode for delegating entire tasks to ChatGPT. Given a goal, it creates a plan, gathers information using tools such as files, plugins, and a web browser, then produces documents, spreadsheets, presentations, or reports ready for review. Before important actions, it pauses to request approval or additional information.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for people who want to delegate everyday work such as creating documents, tables, and presentations, or researching and organizing web information, directly within ChatGPT. Existing ChatGPT users can start without an additional signup.
OCodex
Codex is OpenAI's AI agent for software development. It reads and edits code, runs commands, and handles testing, code reviews, and feature implementation. Tasks can run on your computer (locally) or in OpenAI's cloud, and it has been integrated into the ChatGPT desktop app since July 9, 2026.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for developers who want to delegate coding, reviews, and automation. The same account works across terminals, editors, and the cloud.
Odots (ChatGPT)
dots is an always-on personal agent within ChatGPT. Powered by GPT-6 Astra, it has its own computer and browser in the cloud and continues working between conversations even when your computer is off. It proactively contacts you when results are ready or a decision is needed.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for advanced users who want to delegate multiple tasks throughout the day and receive the results. Available only on Pro ($100 or more per month) and above, making it costly.
Gemini Spark
Google's personal AI agent within the Gemini app. It handles multi-step tasks across Google apps such as Gmail·Calendar·Drive·Docs and a web browser, and runs recurring tasks on schedules or under specified conditions. It runs in the cloud, so work continues even when your phone or laptop is off, and it is designed to request user confirmation before important actions.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for heavy Gmail·Calendar·Drive users who want to delegate recurring work such as scheduling and email processing throughout the day. In South Korea, access is currently confirmed only for Ultra subscribers.
Gemini in Chrome auto browse
A feature that lets Gemini in Chrome navigate websites directly and handle multi-step tasks for the user. It clicks buttons, fills forms, and navigates pages independently, pausing for confirmation at sensitive steps such as payments or social media posts. Gemini Spark also uses desktop Chrome's auto browse for web tasks.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for Google AI subscribers using Chrome in the US who want to delegate website navigation and form filling. Currently works only in US, English-language environments.
MMicrosoft Copilot Cowork (personal accounts, Preview)
Copilot Cowork is an agent that handles tasks such as creating documents, drafting and sending emails, scheduling, and managing files when you describe what you want in natural language. Users review and approve sensitive actions such as payments and sending emails before execution. Cowork for personal accounts is currently in preview, and existing personal Copilot Tasks users are being migrated to Cowork.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for individual Microsoft 365 subscribers who frequently work with Word·Excel·PowerPoint·Outlook files and want to delegate entire document tasks. Personal account features are still in preview.
MBrowse with Copilot (Microsoft Edge)
Browse with Copilot lets Copilot handle tasks by directly clicking, typing, and switching tabs within Microsoft Edge. All actions run locally in the user's browser, and users can watch each step in real time and take control at any time. Microsoft states that this experimental feature may misunderstand instructions or be influenced by malicious instructions hidden on webpages.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for US Microsoft 365 Premium subscribers using Edge who want to delegate web clicks and typing. Other countries are 'coming later'.
Comet Assistant (Comet browser)
Comet is an AI browser made by Perplexity, and Comet Assistant is a personal agent in its side panel that answers questions and performs tasks directly on websites. It summarizes, translates, and extracts information from the current tab or tabs specified with @, and handles multi-step tasks across tabs. If a request would be better executed directly in the browser, it asks the user first.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for people who search and browse heavily and are willing to switch browsers to delegate page summarization, navigation, and typing. The browser and Search mode are free to try.
Perplexity Computer
Perplexity Computer is a general-purpose 'digital worker' that directly operates the same interfaces and tools people use. Describe the desired result, and it breaks the work into subtasks, delegates them to subagents, and performs web research, document creation, data processing, and connected app tasks in the background for hours to months. Each task runs in an isolated cloud environment with a real file system and browser, using AI models selected to suit the work.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for paid Perplexity users who want to delegate multi-step work such as research and organizing materials to the cloud. It uses credits, so check costs before large tasks.
MManus
Manus is a general-purpose AI agent that completes tasks rather than only answering questions. Manus 2.0, unveiled on September 28, 2026, added the new Cascade agent engine, the Manus Studio desktop workspace (including video editing and game development), Cloud Computer, event-triggered Automations, and the Cue personal agent app. After being acquired by Meta, it separated due to regulatory issues and resumed operations as an independent company on September 1, 2026.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for people who want to try long tasks that produce deliverables, such as reports, websites, or video edits, for free first. Regional availability is not disclosed, so check before signing up.
GGenspark Super Agent
Genspark Super Agent is an autonomous AI assistant that breaks requests into steps, selects the necessary tools, and creates finished deliverables. The new Super Agent works in a dedicated cloud sandbox (with a real browser and file system), and can save completed workflows as 'skills' for reuse or team sharing. It is the central feature of Genspark's 'AI Workspace', which combines slides, sheets, documents, email, and more.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for people who want to quickly create slides, documents, and research findings in one place and save frequent tasks as 'skills' for reuse.
Claude Code
Anthropic's agentic coding tool that reads codebases, edits files, and runs commands. It handles routine tasks such as bug fixes and test writing, as well as refactoring and migrations taking hours to days. Give instructions and review results through the terminal, IDE, desktop app, web, mobile, or Slack.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for developers who write code or automate repetitive tasks with scripts. Strong at reading entire projects and editing multiple files.
Claude Cowork
A feature that brings the same agent architecture as Claude Code to general work without a terminal. Describe the desired deliverable and step away; Claude plans and handles multiple steps, then returns finished documents, spreadsheets, or presentations. Since September 16, 2026, it has been merging with 'chat' into a unified Claude for Pro·Max, and new Pro·Max tasks will run in the cloud from October 6, 2026.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for office workers who want to delegate entire document, file, and research tasks. Well suited to work requiring deliverables as files.
Claude in Chrome
A Chrome browser extension that lets Claude read websites, click, type, and fill forms. It works directly on sites where the user is already logged in, pausing to ask before sensitive actions such as payments. Use it directly in the side panel or invoke it for browser steps from Cowork·Claude Code.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for people who want to delegate repetitive website clicks, typing, and research directly within the browser.
xGrok Bot
An 'AI coworker' agent released in beta by xAI (now SpaceXAI) on August 11, 2026. Each Bot uses its own cloud computer (browser·files·terminal), logs into the user's apps and websites, completes multi-step tasks, and works 24 hours a day even when the laptop is closed. After the user demonstrates a task once, it saves the process as a routine and repeats it independently.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for people who repeat the same tasks across multiple work apps and want automation they can demonstrate once and delegate. Existing paid SuperGrok or Cursor users can try it without an additional subscription.
Muse
A personal AI agent unveiled by Meta on September 8, 2026. It goes beyond answering questions to directly handle tasks such as sending emails, booking travel, and filling forms, continuing even after the app is closed. It requests user approval before sensitive actions and is powered by Meta's Muse Spark model.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for people living in the US·Canada who frequently use WhatsApp·Instagram and want to try a free personal agent for errands. Other regions, including South Korea, are not officially supported.
IInstinct
A personal assistant AI agent from San Francisco startup Instinct (legal entity Spear Street Technology, Inc.). Instead of using a new app interface, you make requests by text or phone; it connects to your email·messages·screen·audio·location and more, using phones and computers like a person to handle tasks. Signup currently requires an invitation link from an existing member.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for people living in the US who want to delegate tasks by text or phone as if asking an assistant. Signup currently requires an invitation link, and pricing and supported countries are undisclosed.
AAlexa for Shopping
Alexa for Shopping is a shopping-focused agentic AI assistant released by Amazon on 2026-05-13, combining the existing Rufus shopping chatbot with Alexa+. Ask questions directly in the Amazon app's search box and delegate product comparisons, price tracking, purchases at target prices, recurring purchases, and cart management. It specializes in shopping rather than general-purpose tasks.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for frequent US Amazon shoppers who want to delegate product comparisons, recommendations, and orders. A shopping-only agent.
Siri AI
Siri AI is a completely new Siri announced by Apple at WWDC26 (2026-06-08) and released in beta on 2026-09-14. It understands personal context such as messages·email·photos, recognizes onscreen content, and performs actions across multiple apps. Built into iPhone·iPad·Mac·Apple Watch·Vision Pro, it also has a new dedicated Siri app for viewing conversation history.
Site Operator's Opinion Suitable for people using recent iPhones·Macs who want to delegate tasks directly on their devices without installing a separate app. Currently an English beta, with Korean support planned for October 2026.
