MWhat It Does
Manus is a general-purpose AI agent that completes tasks rather than only answering questions. Manus 2.0, unveiled on September 28, 2026, added the new Cascade agent engine, the Manus Studio desktop workspace (including video editing and game development), Cloud Computer, event-triggered Automations, and the Cue personal agent app. After being acquired by Meta, it separated due to regulatory issues and resumed operations as an independent company on September 1, 2026.

Is It Free to Use?
A free plan is available (300 credits daily, 1 concurrent task, Manus 2.0 Lite only in agent mode). The $40-per-month Pro tier offers a 7-day free trial.
Supported Regions
Official pages do not list supported countries. During the transition to independent operations, some users' data was deleted due to 'regulatory requirements in certain jurisdictions' (2026-08-23~24, SGT), and new subscription sales were temporarily suspended in those regions. The countries were not disclosed. A notice page appears in unsupported regions (manus.im/unavailable, 'Manus is not available in your region'). No separate mention of South Korea·Japan·EU was found (the help center offers Korean and Japanese).
What We Have Not Yet Confirmed
- The pricing page (manus.im/pricing) is rendered with JavaScript and could not be read directly. Prices are based on an official help center article, which also states that 'the actual pricing page takes precedence'. All prices are 'from' amounts, so additional credits cost more.
- The help article shows the currency only as '$', which was interpreted as USD. Regional local currency prices could not be confirmed.
- Official pages do not identify the countries in the 'affected regions' where data was deleted for regulatory reasons.
- No official wording explicitly confirming availability in South Korea·Japan·EU was found.
- The Meta acquisition announcement date (2025-12-29) appears in an official Manus post. Chinese regulators blocking the transaction and the repurchase of investor stakes were seen only in media reports and were not included because they could not be confirmed on official pages.
- The official legal entity name could not be confirmed (the terms page body could not be read). The site footer says '© 2026 Manus AI'.
- Cue phone number subscriptions are purchased separately from Manus membership, but pricing could not be confirmed.
